VanHerck Wins Award of Distinction During MCCA Convention
The Missouri Community College Association presented Dr. Don VanHerck of Bismarck with the Award of Distinction at a ceremony held in St. Louis Oct. 31.
Romine Wins MCCA Award
Senator Gary Romine received the Missouri Community College Association's Distinguished Legislator Award at a ceremony held in St. Louis today.  Romine serves Missouri's 3rd Senate District, which includes Iron, Reynolds, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, and Washington counties, as well as part of Jefferson County.

Calendar of Events

State Rep. Kevin Engler, R-116th District, will address the crowd on April 25 at Mineral Area College’s Fourth Friday.
Vocalist Dr. Wayne Pope will return to Mineral Area College for the MAC Music Department’s annual “Afternoon of Jazz” concert.

The Mineral Area Council on the Arts K-12 Student Art Show is free and open for the public to view on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., in Mineral Area College’s Robert E. Sechrest Sr. Field House in Park Hills. Afterward, an awards ceremony for ribbons and cash prizes is sponsored by the Mineral Area Council on the Arts, in partnership with Heimburger Construction. Judging is conducted by an independent art educator from outside the Parkland area.
