MAC Student Aaron Brooks Wins Student Leadership Award
The Missouri Community College Association presented Aaron Brooks of Mineral Area College with the Student Leadership Award at a ceremony held in St. Louis today. Brooks is a very active member of his college's Phi Theta Kappa chapter. He has served as the group's president for two years. During that time, he was nominated for the All-Missouri Academic Team and was asked to lead a breakout session at last year's regional conference. He played a key role in organizing this year's regional conference. Brooks was integral in leading the college's PTK chapter to five-star status and increasing the chapter's numbers significantly. He is pictured with Zora Mulligan, MCCA executive director.
