30th Annual Science Fair Sees Many Winners

 

Mineral Area College’s annual math and science fair, this year on April 5, encourages scientific study among students grades 6-12, who compete in categories of Psychology, Math, Computer Science, Behavioral and Social Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Engineering, Physics and Product Testing. Marisa Williams from John A. Evans Middle School won Middle School School Best of Fair for her entry, “Googly Eyes.” Her teacher is Randy Harmon.
Mineral Area College’s Robert E. Sechrest Sr. Fieldhouse saw quite a few winners during the Math & Science Fair, scheduled this year on April 5.

MAC’s annual math and science fair encourages scientific study among students grades 6-12, who compete in categories of Psychology, Math, Computer Science, Behavioral and Social Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Engineering, Physics and Product Testing.

Marisa Williams from John A. Evans Middle School won Middle School School Best of Fair for her entry, “Googly Eyes.” Her teacher is Randy Harmon.

Ethan Jones of Arcadia Valley won High School Best of Fair. His teacher is Michele Strange, and his entry was “Bernoullis’ Principle vs. Angle of Attack.”
