MoHealthWINs Students Complete Certificates

Seven students in Mineral Area College's MoHealthWINs program, Maintenance Technician in a Healthcare Setting, recently received certificates of completion for the Health Care Industrial Maintenance Technology Certificate Program credential. This program of study included OSHA 10 certification, electrical, rotating machines, mechanical drives, fluid power and basic carpentry. The men are eligible to continue to the next stackable credential, the Health Care HVAC Technician program. During the 16-week HVAC program the students will receive the OSHA 30 Training certificate, prepare for the EPA section 608 Exam, study electric motor controls, thermal science and troubleshooting, environmental applications, commercial refrigeration and perform refrigeration lab exercises.
