Students Learn Babysitting Basics

Camryn Will of Farmington feeds Alivia Wilfong while Paige McFarland, Isabela Clubb and Bailey Webb look on.

Students in MAC’s “Basics of Babysitting” learned basic first aid, how to care for and entertain infants, toddlers and preschoolers, how to start their business and how to communicate with parents before and after the job. Students got hands-on experience in feeding, changing and entertaining 10-month-old Alivia Wilfong, daughter of Stacy and Derek Wilfong of Bonne Terre, and 4-year-old Addison Ross, daughter of Kyle and Autumn Ross of Terre du Lac.  Morgan Comnick taught the four-week class which ended Nov. 10, and will teach it again in February.
