Student Lindsey Douglas honored by Missouri Community College Association

 
Lindsey Douglas has received the Missouri Community College Association’s Student Leadership Award at the association’s forty-eighth annual convention in Kansas City.
Lindsey Douglas has received the Missouri Community College Association’s Student Leadership Award at the association’s forty-eighth annual convention in Kansas City.

Ms. Douglas is an active member of Mineral Area’s Art Club and Phi Theta Kappa chapter, of which she is the vice-president of scholarship.  Art is her passion, and she plans to work in a field that allows her to combine creativity and business.  She will transfer to Mizzou next fall, where she plans to major in textiles and retail management.

She is a 2010 graduate of Farmington High School and the daughter of Danny and Paula Douglas.

The Missouri Community College Association is a statewide organization through which Missouri’s community colleges work together to advance common agendas. MCCA provides advocacy, education, information, and networking opportunities in service of the state’s 5,700 community college faculty, staff, administrators, and trustees.
