Arts Council’s K-12 Art Show May 3

The Mineral Area Council on the Arts K-12 Student Art Show is free and open for the public to view on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., in Mineral Area College’s Robert E. Sechrest Sr. Field House in Park Hills. Afterward, an awards ceremony for ribbons and cash prizes is sponsored by the Mineral Area Council on the Arts, in partnership with Heimburger Construction. Judging is conducted by an independent art educator from outside the Parkland area.

MAC 2014 Golf Tournament
Date: May 14, 2014 to May 30, 2014
MAC Foundation’s golf tournament will be May 14 at St. Francois Country Club on Hillsboro Road, with both 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. sessions. Four-person scramble packages are $390 each (deadline to register: April 30) and include green fees, cart rentals, mulligans, beverages, apparel, photos, awards dinner/auction, and a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes.
